Any B&M stores that sell plastic grommets?

I've checked Lowe's and Home Depot. Both said check their hardware department. No luck at either store.

I've found them all over the place online... but I'd like to find them locally. Would an office store like Staples carry something like that?

Hmmm.. I think Lowes is where I bought some of those a few years back. I'm surprised you were unable to find them. In fact, I know it was Lowes. I remember buying those plus a hole saw at the same time.

Yeah, you can do a store search online. I've used them for buying bushings and grommets to adapt a metal ring to a smaller diameter. Seems like they'd have all sorts of that stuff since they have what I was looking for.

Weird... I've purchased them at Home Depot before. I think I found them in the same aisle that contained those wire concealment tracks/tubes/whatever and the cable ties/etc.

But Staples should have them too, I would think. Or Office depot or similar.

You will probably not find them at Home Depot anymore.

Home Depot used to get them through RCA, but clearanced out most of their stock of RCA products. They now carry GE versions of the stuff, and they may not carry them anymore.

If they're going to be in Home Depot, they're going to be in Electrical, not in Hardware. They'll either be by the cable molding/tracks, or by the phone/audio/TV stuff. Whoever told you they're in Hardware doesn't know what they're talking about.

Thanks, I'll check there next time... One guy told me they'd be in the tool section.

Home Depot, Lowe's, Staples, and Office Max don't have them on their website (found them on other websites but none with local B&M stores). I guess I'll hit Home Depot and Lowe's on my way home tonight.

Try a "real" hardware store... like Ace, Elliot's, or True Value(assuming the ones in your area haven't all been run out of business by Walmart, Home Depot, and Lowes).

I found them, right where you guys said they'd be (they were GE btw). 4 different Home Depot employees had no idea, but ATOT did. Hmmm....

Unfortunately they only had 2" grommets and they were $6 apiece... I was looking for 3", so I think I'll just buy them online.

There's an Ace and a True Value right by work, so I'll check there tomorrow.
