Im listening for the first time to Transitus while I work ...
I dont care if the narration is dumb, its "The Doctor" Tom Baker himself.
Really digging Cammie Gilbert here. Glad Arjen was able to get her for this album.
Tommy Karevik still an amazing vocalist. I like his work with Kamelot, but, when he sings in Ayreon, its just so amazing.
Marcia Bovio is still amazing beyond words, one of my all time favorites for sure.
Joe Satriani and Marty Feldman on guitars, holy crap
I really enjoy this, though, for me, the recording of the Ayreon Universe live show is my favorite (Big fan of Jonas Renkse & Anneke van Giersbergen since early Katatonia/The Gathering)
Anyhow, for anybody who likes cheesy metal/rock stuff .. Ayeon has delivered another great album.
Thus far, its one of my favorites of 2020, though I really love Igorrr's Spirituality and Destruction, Katatonia's City Burials, Ulver's Flowers of Evil, and both Telemark and Pharos from Ihsahn as well.
In Addition, Wailin Storms' Rattle really surprised me (they are new to me, as I hadn't even heard of them until recently)
Anyhow, its been a dark year for me, but, the music has been good, which helps to soften the blow.
Hope yall are doin all right.
