Any Audi A4 owners?

my dad has an 84 audi 5000 turbo, if that counts.

i like it, they are good cars. i've driven a few of the slightly more recent ones as well, but nothing that recent.
hopefully this kinda helps you 😀

My roommate drives a 2001 S4, and I have to say that it's an absolutely awesome ride. I know the A4 isn't quite as souped up, but the 1.8T engine is a nice power plant that can be modded up to around 320HP (I believe). The Quattro AWD is simply awesome too.

Great car, indeed. 😀

Thanks

if size don't matter, the A4 is a good little car... i test drove one and now i got my eyes on the A8 longwheelbase version... with the S8 package.

what are your takes on the Laser Red Color?

Awesome looking ride, but if you like to push the speed limit then I think the cops will spot you rather easily.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Nagaro Blue. 😀

well, the parents of a friend of mine has an A4 1.8Turbo, not sure if it's a 98 or 99. And me thinks, it definately rocks, but oh well, I never drove a better car so..... but still nothing compared to the Subaru Impreza in terms of acceleration.

i drove a friend A4 once, not a turbo though, i must say i loved, specially the steering and handling 🙂

I've had a 2001 A4 1.8T since October and I've had no problems yet. Great ride, awesome handling, I find myself cornering way too fast now just because I can 🙂

I've had my 2001 A4 1.8T since last fall and I really have enjoyed it so far! It's a nice alternative to the BMW 3-series and the styling (especially the interior) is incredible.
170hp is fairly decent for a four-pot...but the 1.8T is one of the most easily tuned engines on the market and there is a large enthusiast base for it. For example, I have my car "chipped" to 207hp and might plan some other modifications in the future. A good enthusiast site to check out is Audiworld.
Some other vehicles to possibly examine would be a VW Passat or Jetta 1.8T or the Subaru WRX.

FYI, I drove today again with this freakin' Impreza. There's no comparssion between the Impreza and the A4.... uh... what was the question again... oh well...
