Yes. My wedding ring was resized a number of years ago and it actually cracked at the point they cut it. I wore it that way for a couple years but then I must have banged it on something because it is now scrapes the crap out of my finger when I wear it...so I don't wear it. I'd actually like to get a nice simple platinum band. That would suit me fine.
