Any ATOT-er living in china?

I heard internet access is pretty restrictive there, for example some sites are banned.

I plan to go to China next year, is it very restrictive?

are there easy ways around this ban?

I can't give you a sure answer. But when I was there, you could access most of your common major sites. I could use anandtech, news site, etc. However, while poking with it, it does seem that they restrict your common adult keyword searchs. I don't imagine most people will run into any trouble with the net there unless you happen to be trying to overthrow the chinese government.

oh yea, to give you a time frame/location in case that matters. I was there in september, access the net at shenzhen and guangzhou.
