Any Asus 6800GE Owners out there?

I've searched and searched but never really found any one write it out - can someone tell me if this Asus hybrid card makes alot of noise? I know that you can control the fan speed with their software, but I imagine that if you OC is and unlock a few pipes, it's going to generate as much heat as a GT if not an Ultra... so I imagine it needs quite alot of air!

Does it make any kind of whining noise when pushed to max?

I had the V9999GE, Vanilla w/ GT RAM, for a while. My current Gainward 6800GT is much louder than the Asus, so its that loud at all.

So you ditched the asus for a better performer? For me, it's about 80 euros less than the cheapest GT, which got crappy reviews (the PNY). The gainward is about 160 euros more. That's a big difference! Plus, when I heard that I can possibly unlock a few pipes on the asus, and overclock the crap out of it, I can reach near - GT speeds. Plus, as I'll be playing at high res all the time, and would like to use AA/AF, for the price the GE can't be beat.

Anyway, thanks for the info... I just don't want a screaming noise out of my video card!
