red label darjeeling tea is a great black tea, especially when made as chai. Twinnings earl grey is one of my favorites as well

Those 2 are great choices, along with Twinings Darjeeling. Its some awesome tea.

Tea. I'm a fervent coffee drinker but have recently discovered the sweet lurings of a good hot tea (call me sissy but I can't deny it 😛). Not to mention it's actually good for you. And as I understand it, I don't think it's a stereotype to look toward China, Japan, or Britain for the best. American-style Lipton bags taste like the the equivalent of "Folgers".

Anyway, I'm looking for an online vendor selling good teas. Green, black, white, herbal...all of it sounds good.

Thanks. Cheerio.

lipton is second to coffee to me. lipton makes me sick after i drink it for a while...

try chinatown, they might have some real tea (probably over-priced). makes me sad that i didn't buy like 10-lb of tea when i was in china... it runs about $4/lb for cheap tea or about $15/lb for the really good stuff. my uncle has some $100/lb crazy insane tea... (all US currency)

If you like traditional tea, and don't want to break the "tea" habit, then try Tibetan Tea as an alternative for your Bawls or Red Bull.

I would also suggest trying white tea -- it's "better" than green tea, and certainly better than black tea. 🙂

Back to your question... Here's a site that sells a variety of loose leaf teas.

I like my tea with a sprig (or leaf) of mint and served in a Morrocan-style tea glass. That and I'll go for English Breakfast (with honey), Earl Grey (with milk), Green, and White tea -- not all at the same time, though. 😉
