Hi,

I just bought an ATI x800 Pro AGP from a friend because I'm building a new computer. But I also want PCI-Express for future upgrades. Are there any boards that have both that aren't value line mobos?

Thanks,
Scott

Thanks... Someone else actually just told me about that. Wish it was a premium board and not a value line, but good to know I guess.

What mobo do you have Beef Taco?

There is really only one choice--the ULi M1695 based board from ASRock. It is proving itself to be a very good board. ASRock is a spin-off of ASUS. I have used ASRock boards in the past and they are all still working very well. The ULi chipset is rock-solid, btw.

I have one of those Asrock boards. I'm using my X800XT on it and an X2 4400+

Its not a major overclockers board (yet, until they change bios voltages), but I'm very happy with it.

It took a little bios tweaking to get it running correctly, but I haven't had any big issues with it.

If you can live without Gigabit Lan and Firewire, then I'd recommend it.
