any advantage to using nforce IDE drivers for CDroms?

I have a raptor drive, will these custom IDE drivers benefit my CDRW/floppy in any way or should i just not install them since im running SATA
 
Don't worry about them, I've heard that they cause problems on some systems.
They've been fine on mine, but meh. Not really worth it, IMHO.
