Long story short, I disabled ACPI in BIOS before I installled win2k pro. Now when I shut down, the computer does not automatically power off. It just gives me the "It is now safe to shutdown Windows 2000" or something to that effect.
I went back into the BIOS and Enabled ACPI but it still does the same thing. It's not a huge deal to me but I'd rather it auto power off. I haven't hardly installed anything else on the pc so it would not be too much of a problem to reinstall windows. Just want to see if there's a way to re-enable the auto off?
Also, what else did I lose as far as features, etc. with not installing ACPI? I haven't noticed anything else but it has to do more than that.
