Any 87 - 93 5.0 mustang fans?

Yes there are a few here. Twista, Insane3D, & Ronstang to name a few. I also owned a 86 Mustang LX with the 5.0L H.O.engine and I thought it was a blast to drive.

big time fan here of 5.0s...
had 6 over the years
fastest being a 93 notch with a 347 and a Vortech.. 550 hp streetable.

Nice! I just rebuilt my 5.0 engine with heads intake cam etc.. only about 300hp though 🙂 The Foxes look badass imo!
 
I used to think they were ugly and stupid...

Then I rode in my brother-in-law's 5.0 convertible. That beast has the most torque of any vehicle I have ever felt. It feels like the frame is going to bend. When he punches it, it throws you back in your seat and you can't even lift up out of it until he hits 4th gear.

I have a whole new appreciation for the Mustang now a days.
 
Owned one.. sad to say. UGLY UGLY UGLY car. Horrible handling. Had the tire rod ends bend out of whack and had to be replaced 3 times. Utter junk. Worse car I ever owned or drove.

Have an 89 5.0l notchback. You either love or hate the way they look. The brakes suck, the interior sucks, hanlding stock is eh, and its about as unrefined as driving a 60s mustang only with power options and an overdrive. I love it.
 
Not a big fan of the Fox body's but it did bring the Mustang back from the dreary days of the Pinto based ones from the 70's and kept it from becoming a FWD poser (The Ford Probe was supposed to be the new Mustang) During it's heyday, I was a rabid import fanboi (Supra, RX-7, 300Z) and wouldn't give a 5.0 a second look, but now I know better. I've ridden and driven a few of the modded ones, and they can be impressive - but I never desired owning one. It wasn't until the S197 platform came out that I decided I wanted a Mustang over a 350Z or RX-8.
