Raid is good. It leaves a residue that should keep the ants away for a while. Also:
1. Make sure you ventilate the area after you spray
2. If you have pets, I wouldn't use Raid unless you can keep them out of the kitchen for a while.
3. Make sure there's no food, trash, etc. that is attracting them. See if you can follow the trail of ants to see what they're after.
4. Use rubbing alcohol to wipe up the trail of ants. This will kill them and also destroys their pheromone trails.

In the past I've found a good way to get rid of ants is to mix up a pepsi solution (one liter of pepsi and about a cup of sugar added in) and wipe the floor and walls down with it.
