How so? I haven't heard of any similar incidents. Most antiwar protestors are worried about going to war, and may not agree with it, but they still love this country and support our troops 100%. It is the actions of the government they don't agree with. However, with any group, there will always be the few that act like idiots and get all the attention.

It could be several things. First, sure he is working within the UN, but at the same time he constantly says that he will act without them if they vote against us. I think some people are worried about the precedent that will be sent if we attack without the support of the UN. They could also be worried that we are so enamored with Iraq that we are ignoring the (some would argue) greater threat in NK. Regardless of what policy they are protesting, if they do it peacefully, they are executing the rights they have that makes this country great. The people I have talked to in my area are generally not anti-war, they just think we need to get the support of the UN first. Still others are worried that we should be worrying about the country with the nukes that can hit us and are constantly talking about WW3 and turning our cities to ashes, rather than the dictator of Iraq who is only trying to get one nuke...maybe.

It has been my experience each person's argument has it's individual merits, and a combination of the views of different sides gives you a better view of the situation rather than only paying attention to one side.
