have two servers at my fathers office that need anti-virus software. I've decided to put norton system works 2003 pro on the xp professional computers but its not compatible for the servers. Anyone have some suggestions and possibly economical solutions?

Check out F-Prot and F Secure, Fprot will run on Win2K server and Fsecure too I believe. You can also try Trend Micro Online house call scanner which is free. Good Luck.

The free version's license is for personal, non-networked use only.

As for "economical," these are servers. My advice would be to ignore economy, and focus on what will do the best job. An ounce of prevention... yeah. :) Don't forget to sweat the details on the configuration: no files exempt, use heuristics, scan within compressed files, and never make it ask the user for confirmation before taking action. We use McAfee VirusScan Enterprise where I work and it is pretty strong stuff. http://www.mcafeeb2b.com .

Also, this would be a better question for the Operating Systems/Software forum, remember that they do have one here ;)

We use Norton Corporate Edition at work and it's solid. You can run it in managed mode and have updates pushed to all clients multiple times throughout the day.
