None? I have root & know immediately what programs want access on my phone.

None. Don't download shady/stolen apps and you're good. I've been using Android since 2.0 and have never ever had a "virus". There are some apps that use AirPush to force ad's but those are being cut down by Google and the app "Airpush detector" can tell you if you have one.

Basically as everyone else has said, AV programs for Android are a solution in search of a problem. I know it's this huge story when someone finds a potentially malicious Android app, but there've been what... Maybe a dozen such stories? And how many apps are there on the Play store? Calling it a drop in the bucket is to vastly overstate the situation.

Maybe... Someday... In the distant future, this might change, but right now it's just companies looking to play off of people's fear and ignorance to sell them useless products.

i agree with most here that you won't really need one as long as you practice safe habits.
i have given lookout a shot and like it. it is doing a decent job and has nice features even in the free version. i don't have it on my phone and tablet anymore because i don't really see the need but i still have it on the kids tablet because they downloading all kinds of junk plus it allows me to find the tablet when they can't.
