I've seen plenty of folks with the scar. I guess it depends on the quality of the nurse. Some are better with the needle.

I was most certainly vaccinated for smallpox, and in a few years that scar on my upper arm faded away.
My older siblings all still have the scar.

The scar is the result of a very localized case of smallpox where the vaccine was administered.

Skill with a needle has nothing to do with it.

Historically didn't most children die from now preventable and treatable diseases?
Yeah, the anti-vax idiots tend to forget all the people today that are NOT dying from the vaccines they don't want you to get.

Remember when you got polio? Smallpox? Mumps? Measles? Tuberculosis? Yeah, me either. There's a reason for that.

These idiots talked other idiots into not getting them, and now we're seeing Measles and Mumps again. Those diseases can come back in pretty short order if everyone stopped. Idiots.

This is one way that the internet is a very bad thing. Idiots like this used to not be able to reach an audience of other idiots as easily. Now they can group-think on the internet.

So you didn't make it to the second sentence of the article?
Red Squirrel is highly impressionable. Sensational headlines and topic titles are all it takes.

He actually believes most people living in USA are worried about getting shot every time they go out.

I've got no problem with the wackos who think the moon landing was faked or that the world is flat. When your stupidity graduates to the level that you refuse to vaccinate your children I wanna knock your goddamned teeth out.

I think all these flat earthers are caused by all those damn flu vaccines........ :-D

Edit: it just hit me, if this continues in the pet community, what odds do you place on rabies making a larger come back?

I've had the shots for that, it's not fun. thankfully they don't do the stomach shots.

Setup the situation with no standardized reporting facility for recording adverse reactions. Claim "Potential side effects of vaccines are rare" even though you don't collect the telemetry.

You're the reason dead diseases are making a comeback.

so, you are saying doctors don't report adverse reactions to vaccines to CDC like they are supposed to?

and side effects are rare.

There are millions and millions of people that have been vaccinated with no side effect. We have over 50 years worth of data. Vaccines work, and the side effects are very, VERY few.
