Anti-Static HDD Boxes

Where can they be had? Some OEM type plastic clam shells would be okay but something as compact but sturdier would be nice too. I considered TupperWare or such but am wary of static electricity. Likewise common plastic "project boxes", unless someone can recommend a source? Aluminum ones would avoid the static problem but in any case I do not want to enclose the drives with even semi-permanency but need to maintain ready access so screw-down lids are no good. A tight fit is essential too so as to avoid banging around inside. At worst I could resort to AS bag or box in TW but would rather avoid the "Russian doll" hassle. Suggestions?

If you need something to ship it in you can buy hard drive "preapproved" shipping boxes from Seagate/Western Digital. They are kinda pricy...I usually just send them in Antistatic bags sealed with some bubble wrap or air bags.

Just do an Advanced RMA they will ship you the Drive.... you use that box to ship it back.....Simple and easy.

Seagate Seashell? Hard Disc Drive Package

This innovative, new packaging methodology provides protection for hard disc drives from shock and ESD damage during manufacturing, transit and customer integration phases. It is a paradigm shift away from the traditional static shielding bag used in disc drive packaging, becoming the industry standard.

Ja, I'm using old shells now from Seagate and Samsung but would prefer something more durable.

crown711, what are yours made of?

Pity that protected circuit board designs such as SeaShield never caught on.
