Not everyone who smokes is an "asshole", I won't even smoke in my own car if a non-smoker is riding with me. Nicotine is so addictive though I wouldn't care if it was banned, tried to quit 3 times, best I could do was 4 months..

Maybe you don't realize it but the stench travels pretty far. My fiancee' and I can always tell when a driver in front of us is smoking if we don't have our windows up and the recirculation on.

This is always the cig smoker's comeback though. There are dangerous chemicals in car exhaust fumes so... what? so outlaw cars?

It may be an exaggeration for effect, but second hand smoke is not something I care to breath in either.
