Way to divert.

Do you get off on restricting people's rights or something or is it just a game for you where you are trying to beat your political opponents on every issue you can.

I bought a gun last week and it took longer to fill out the form manually (about 5 minutes) than the background check on the computer (about 2-3 minutes).

The majority does not support it.
And you must be very young, cuz for the longest time the anti-gun crowd was considerably louder, even though they've always been the minority.
Its only in the 2nd Obama term that gun supporters have become slightly louder.
My if was theoretical. I am well acclimated to what the public stands on guns. If the anti crowd was previously louder Clinton's '94 experience would not have happened.

Lazy voters. No motivation from folks for common sense gun legislation in a state that has had some of the worse mass killings.
Never the less, nothing changes in the end.
The gun legislation law is still in effect.
Governor is still a democrat.
Both houses still domocrat controlled.
Thus folks for common sense gun control were not motivated.
They didn't see the need to turn out.
Naturally, gun fanatics turned out.

Just another sleepy day in state CO.

So, in Iowa the blind can pack a gun.
In Missouri they want machine guns.

Bean me up Scotty...

I'm a registered Democrat, but I'm happy to hear those two Democrats in CO were recalled.

Next up on the chopping block is Governor Hickenlooper. Good riddance. It's a shame what that state did with their new gun control laws.

And meanwhile, no one gets mandatory training!

The fact is that these 2 Democrat lawmakers, one a President of the Senate, voted for stupid gun laws, got recalled by their constituents and fired. Fired, fired, fired and buh-bye 2 Democrat lawmakers.

Go ahead and whine, snivel, sniffle and cry.

Delicious librul tears. Even though polls showed her down by a wide margin, and Bloomberg funded anti-rights movement outspent the grassroots pro-rights movement 10-1, the reason that she lost was the big bad NRA and voter suppression.

Behold, a librul in its natural habitat of the mainstream media. Expecting to be served softball questions by a sympathetic talking head, the librul quickly becomes confused and bewildered when reminded that the reason it lost the election was a lack of popularity, not the evil National Rifle Association.

How about the 82 percent of Colorado voters who supported expanded background checks for gun sales? Are those the "gun grabbers" you cold dead hand types are going all stroke face over?

82% of people can't even agree on the color of the sky, much less on a contentious issue.

Most of these "polls" use leading questions, misleading language, and "sampling" to arrive to their pre-determined conclusions.

What exactly did they do?

Refused to listen to their constituents, and dared instead to tell them what was best for them.

Example:

People who voted for the recall were 1/3 Repub, 1/3 Dem, and 1/3 Independent. Should tell you that this isn't a partisan issue. It's an issue of power tripping politicians who think the people serve them, and have forgotten that they serve the people.

So my brothers and sisters in Colorado reminded them of that fact.

It's good to see this liberal idiot get kicked out. How stupid is she to blame the NRA when bloomberg gave around $300,000 for the idiotic gun control crowd.

Here is the full meltdown of this moron.

In her defense, I imagine her core voters are also easily confused and bewildered.

Refused to listen to their constituents, and dared instead to tell them what was best for them.

Well said.

I know nothing about this election but I enjoyed watching the interviewer shut the lady up and basically tell her to get back on track and stop bullshitting.

I do also hate "common sense" reforms of any kind. It is a deceptive and loaded and idiotic term and should never be used. It tries to add a weight of legitimacy without qualifying it.

Man... I wish that we had recall elections in Connecticut. Between the teacher's union, the NRA, and thousands of pissed off tax payers, governor Malloy would be a goner.

Oh well... we'll get our shot next year.

For some reason I believe Jerry Brown will veto SB374. He is all over the place with gun rights, and knows that the courts will eventually strike it down anyway.

If it is signed into law and an immediate injunction is not granted, I have....friends....that will be relocating most of their rifle platforms to free states.
