Good riddance if he ends up losing. The Tea Party would do well to abandon social conservative idiots like Allen West.

Two weeks after Election Day and there's still a dispute over vote counting ... in Florida.

GOP Rep. Allen West isn't conceding defeat after a recount shows he's still trailing Democrat Patrick Murphy in Florida's 18th Congressional District. The recount tally in St. Lucie County released Sunday says Murphy gained a couple hundred votes on West, a Tea Party favorite known for his sometimes fiery rhetoric.

The Palm Beach Post reports West said his campaign "will review the results of today's recount and the other available data to determine how to proceed." Murphy's campaign says it's time to put the campaign to rest and have the Democrat certified as the winner.

There are only three House races that are left undecided. Besides the Florida race, a winner has not yet been declared in North Carolina's 7th District, where Democratic Rep. Mike McIntyre leads Republican David Rouzer by 655 votes.

GOP Reps. Charles Boustany and Jeff Landry face each other in a Dec. 8 runoff in Louisiana's 3rd District. If Murphy is declared the winner in Florida, Democrats will have picked up eight seats in the U.S. House.

Evidence that he is actually anti-gay?

Has he called for outlawing homosexual behavior?

Stoning gays?

etc

Opposition to gay marriage is not anti-gay. Favoring abortion is not pro-infanticide.

Yes it is. So is saying that discrimination in the workplace simply on the basis of being homosexual "doesn't happen" (which he has done)

I didn't know he said that.

But I reject the idea that opposition to gay-marriage translates into anti-gay. I'm against blanket inflammatory terms. You might just as well call someone pro-hate or anti-normal.

If gay people want to go through the same punishment as straight people do in marriage, they have every right to.

The liberals entire argument for gay marriage is based on calling anyone who opposes it a homophobic anti-gay who is probably secretly taking it up the butt in the closet.

No, the argument is the same as the one for legalizing MJ. If it doesn't hurt anyone, don't legislate against it.

No it's not. The argument in favor of gay marriage has nothing to do with the opinions of those who oppose it.

On the other hand, I've never heard a reason why NOT to allow gay marriage that didn't make it appear that the person was anti-gay. The strongest voices against gay marriage are from those that also consider homosexual acts a sin.
