I am thinking that the case vent holes for the 120mm fans are causing a bit of noise from turbulance. Is there a way I can remove them without using a saw? I dont want to have to worry about removing my components. I know I can probably remove the rear grille using a pair of diag. wire cutters, but it looks like the front is a bit thicker. Any suggestions?

I believe the front grille is the one that causing the most noise.

dremel? it might be tough though.

Yeah, i was trying to stay away from dremel or other saw like tools because the metal fragments would cause problems for my components. The case is pretty tight, so removing the motherboard is not a very attractive idea since it is a b1tch to replace/remove.

I know what you mean, there are two tools that I know of which can aid in removal without the mess: tin snips (preferable) and a nibbler (cheaper). Check out this thread all about tin snips and the best to get and where from. The same usage applies to nibblers, but the front may be too thick for it. There are also super nibblers which will chew through thicker metal, but they get into the pricerange of a pair of good snips. Happy case hackin'
