Antec Sonata

I am planning on ordering a P4 2.8c with a ABIT IS7, Should only have one HD in it but possibly 2 and eventually a really good video card; oh and I do not plan on overclockign my machine.

My question is I want to get the Antec Sonata but I?m concerned the 380w power supply will not be enough?

Any info, ideas or opinions on this.

Thanks in advance.

I'm running a p4 2.4c, 2 512MB sticks of RAM, 3 hard drives (7200RPM), 1 DVD-R drive, sound card, DV500 (capture card), and a PCI IDE Controller with no problems. It's a great case!

great case. i have it. i wish it was a bit bigger, fitting the mobo is a tight squeeze.

ANtec PSUs are quality

i run:
4x hdds
IDE Controller Card
9700 Pro
2 x 120mm fans
2x optical drives, DVD+- R/RW, CDRW
flooppy.

In for another vote on the antec ps being fine.
i've got:
3 x HDD
GeForce2 64mb ultra vid
2 x 120mm fans
1 dvdrom
1 cdrw
floppy

yep I got one as well ...

Athlon 2400XP.
GF4 4600.
CDRW.
CDROM.
Maxtor HD.
Creative Sound card.
2 x 120mm Panaflo Med Fans.
1 x 80mm Panaflo Ultra CPU Fan.

runs fine ... cool too for a small ATX case.

You'll have no problem with the PSU, it's fine for what you are going to run. I have that case too, and I really like it.
