Here are the links:

3700-BQE

Sonata

The big difference to me is that the Sonata has a 380W True Power PS and more front mounted ports (which at present I dont't care about).

The Sonata is $129 and the SLK3700-BQE is $99 - what is your take?

You seem to be missing one of the most important differences between the two - cooling setup.

The Sonata has it's second fan located on the rear of the HD cage, next to the MB. The 3700 has the fan right up front behind the chassis grill. The Sonata is not known as the coolest case around, although it is considered quiet. The 3700 is well known as a great case if the owner is looking for a cool running system. (You'll notice the BQE model only comes with a rear fan..)

well I have a Sonata and I must say once a put the 2 panaflo 120mm in it .... it ran cooler then any of my past cases ... including my last case that had 5 x 80mm fans.

My AMD runs about 15F cooler because of this case I give it a big 2 thumbs up for sure. As for sound ... if you use the stock 120mm FAN that comes with the case yes it is very quiet ... however I have 2 x 120mm Panaflo Meds and an 80mm Panaflo Ultra on the CPU so its not the lowest dB case in the world but it's not a leaf blower.

If I am not mistaken, the power supply on the Sonata has the 2 fan only connectors which allow the fans to run slower if the temps are low. The 3700's do not have this feature.

Do you run those on the fan only power connectors or the regular power connectors?

Are both cases equally quiet?

I recently bought the Sonata for my new system and I like it plenty! CPU stays at 34-35 and case is at 30-31 normal usage no OC.
