People seem to think this is a good choice, and I think I'm going to buy one for my new computer. In the description it says the cooling system uses a rear fan (standard) and a front fan (optional). Does anyone know if the case comes with 2 fans, or do we have to buy a second fan to put in front?

Thanks

You have to buy a second fan, if you wish to use it. It comes with a 3 speed Antec.

For the front fan, it mounts just behind (as in, more towards the rear of the case) the 3.5" drive bays.

If you're planning on having a card as long/longer than the ATI 4850, you'll likely want to have the fan inside the drive cage, rather than outside- since there is NOT much wiggle room, and the PCI-E power cable will likley tap the fan blades. I personally decided to sacrifice the 3 unused drive bays to move it inside. Needless to say, the cage gets in the way of airflow a bit, but it still works.

Mine came with an extra fan (purchased 2 wks ago). There was a note in the box that some of the installed rear fans were defective, so they were including an extra fan. My rear fan does not seem to be defective, so now I have a 2nd fan for free.

It sounds like I can't be sure if mine will come with a second fan or not..

I am only planning on using one hard drive at the moment, so I may buy a second fan and put it in the drive cage. Do you imagine some LED in there would look good? =)

Edit: Is it possible to remove the bottom drive cage altogether if I'm not using it? I could throw some supports in there or something. I'll try it when it arrives.

Front fan fits mounted on my friends AntecIII with his 8800GT.. the power cable touches the fan frame slightly however, so you might have to watch out for that one

I don't t hink you would be able to mount it inside the hd bay without removing almost all the hd trays

^Yeah, forgot to mention that I had to remove those trays. But no big deal, as long as you can keep track of where you put them, in case you need them later.

That sounds okay. I'm only using one optical drive and 1-2 hard drives so I shouldn't need all those trays anyways. Thanks guys =)
