i have been trying to figure out if the sonata I is worth $80 out the door, but have not been able to find any comparisons/reviews of substance really

I have 2 sonata I's and 1 sonata ii. Both cases are great in general. If you want quiet, either of these are the bomb! But if you have a PC that gets pretty hot, the sonata i's are a little weak in airflow. My p4 LGA 775 box ran quite hot when playing some graphically intensive games. In the sonata i case, the air outside the case got pretty warm. Didn't kill my system, but it didn't put me at ease either. I got a sonata ii and put that system in there. Since then, things are cool as well as quiet. Couldn't be happier! I still run amd athlons in my sonata i cases. Hope this helps!
 
I'm running the sonana II right now (see rig in sig) and my cpu temps according to speedfan 42' no load and 54' during prime95. stock cooling. gpu ranges from 40' no load to 64' loaded.
 
Great price for a case/PSU combo of this quality. I have the Sonata I and it's very nice and quiet.
But I defintiely agree with discopalace that they are lacking in airflow. I installed a 120mm Fan in the door and that helped, but my system temps still got too hot for my liking.
It's now my kids case and with a 9700 pro and stock speed CPU, temps are fine.
