Antec Sonata for $70: Best Buy (PM & MIR)

Price match in-store at Best Buy. Salesman had said he would price-match Amazon but also the shipping cost. The BB I went to in Manassas, VA has computers connected to the internet. I loaded up amazon.com and showed them the price with free shipping. He matched the price but said he would have to take away BB's mail in rebate. I said ok, went down the street, had rebate printed out at Fair Lakes BB. Easy.

$129.99 - $30 PM - $30 MIR = $70 total. YMMV as they always seem to say.

$99 price match

If it would help, and someone wants to host it, I can provide a scan of the receipt.

too bad your rebate will not work with your purchase since the transaction numbers are not the same. Nice try though.

also you will have to send in a copy of your receipt. and if you read the fine print on the MIR it states that no PMS will be allowed in conjunction with a MIR>

1. I used to work at BB and I've successfully gotten reprinted rebates. I don't know where you got that information from.

2. The fine print on the MIR says nothing about pricematching.

They reprint a MIR in case you lose yours or something.. it follows their rules for rebates.. I've done it multiple times...

I think the deal at staples is better. This is thru phone only. Pricematch Staples with Amazon which comes up to $96 since its a 110% PM. Then apply a 20 off coupon. This is YMMV. Then there is an exclusive Staples only 20 rebate bringing the price down to 96 - 20 - 20 = $56 + tax.
