Its a hassle to remove the bezel and mess with rails in order to install drives.

What's this remove the bezel crap? Guess none of you who are criticizing the Antec cases have never actually used or owned one. The drive rail system Antec uses has to be one of the fastest and simplest systems for installing drives out there.

First, like all cases, you open the side panel....shouldn't take more than 15 sec. to open it. Then, looking inside, you'll see sliders on each drive bay......move the appropriate bay's slider to "unlock" the bay......easy, unless you're a 5-thumbed moron.

Second, you open the front door, in this case, and unsnap the drive cover....all of 3 sec. work.

Third, take the drive rail out of the bottom of the case and snap it onto the right side of your drive. Yes, Antec's drive rails are a spring-clip type rail, and you just put one end of the clip/rail in one mount hole of the drive and press into place. The rail snaps onto the drive and you're ready to install.

Fourth, slide the drive into the case and move the lockdown slider to the locked position. Drive installed. Takes less than 60 sec to do, that is if you can manipulate a slider and snap-on rail. Any 6-yr old child can do it in under 2 minutes and you need no tools whatsoever.

I like this case because it looks simple and good. You teenagers can look elsewhere because this case doesn't look like a transformer

It comes with one 120mm fan with a hi/med/low RPM switch. It is reasonably quiet at low speed. This fan is installed in the back of the case.

Great case at a great price. Provantage was exceptional as well. Received case in exactly 24 hours after placing order. Thanks OP!

I'm very happy with mine too. I reduced clutter by a considerable amount and CPU duct actually works. Also, opaque side panel is refreshing instead of tacky panel windows that let you see the ugly guts inside that seem so prevalent anymore.

Hi All... first time long time... thanks for the great info. I just ordered this from Provantage. Does anyone know if this case has side vents? I'm pretty sure it doesn't but who knows.

TIA

Hi Joe. It has a CPU duct built into the left side panel (left as in you're looking at the front of the case). This passively pulls air into the case onto the CPU to cool it. It has a telescoping duct that you can pull out to sit right over your CPU/HSF. Other than that, I don't remember any other side vents (don't have the case in front of me right now).

It looks like it also has some vents along the bottom of the side to, apparently, bring air in for the video card.

Personally, I went with the 3700-BQE over this case. The side of the case may not always be where the coolest air is and, if you have it cornered somehow, could actually hurt temps. The BQE has the front 120mm fan and no other sources of air intake, so you're always getting the coolest possible air into your system instead of potentially recycling warmer air....nobody buts the front of their case against anything. I also have an XP-90 with the fan sucking instead of blowing and the 120mm exhaust picks that air right up and blows it out of the case, rather than spreading it around the motherboard like you'd do with the CPU fan blowing. But I'm probably splitting hairs anyway and am not a thermodynamicist and could be wrong. :)

It sure does ! Not one but TWO vents on the side - one on top of the CPU with a (removable) telescopic duct, and one vent on top of the video card.

I bit, now i just have to find a quite PS under $25

Hmm, that will be somewhat of a challenge. How many watts/amps do you need?

I'm a Seasonic convert. They are very quiet. They start at about $45 for the 300 watt Silencer.

You can find other brands for less that that. However, I would caution you that you don't want to skimp on the PS. If it is underpowered or can't maintain proper voltages, your machine is going to have fits.

There are the Fortron/Sparkle units starting at around $30-35 shipped for the 300W models, with 120mm fans on them..Perhaps about another $5-10 for the 350W.

These are known to be fairly underrated when it comes to how they handle under load...The 350W tends to do as well, or better than, many 'generic' 450-500 watt models.

If one's going 64-bit socket 939, and PCI-X though, those probably won't supply enough juice--The 550Watt model is probably recommended there, and is decently priced for what you get.

I second that! I've been using 3 fortrons 24/7 for the last 2 years and not a glitch.
Got mine from Directron

12cm Fan, Fortron FSP300-60PN 300W ATX Computer Power Supply, P4 Ready, OEM

Just wanted to add my thanks to the OP. Ordered mine from Provantage on Monday night around 10pm EST, got it Wed afternoon from FedEx Ground. Granted, it only went from Ohio to Michigan, but still!

What a great case!

ordered my 2nd one, for a Athlon64 3800 --- nice case with extra ducts over cpu and vent holes over vid card. I like to add a 2nd 120mm fan so have 1 pushing out the back and 1 pulling in the front.
