Is the 300 W powersupply in this case good enough for an AMD XP2000 cpu, A DVD burner, A DVD rom, Three Hard disks (7200 RPM), and the fans?

This case does not have enough room inside. Also has space for only 2 80mm fans. At least buy the next version from ANtec--SLK3700AMB. This one has slot for 2-120mm fans-nearly 3 times the air flow compared to 2-80mm ones. Also this case come with 1 120mm installed, whereas SLK2600 comes with no fans at all. You have to buy those separately. A 120mm Antec case fan itself is around 12$. SO this is no hot deal at all. Accupc.com is selling them for 68$ for some time now. Also with SLK3700AMb you get a 350W PS and a lot more room inside.

Here's the link to the store you mentioned: http://www.accupc.com/itemDetail.jsp?pid=CSASLK3700

Welcome. I will share a story about accupc.com. My case came with a default PS. So I called them and the next day they sent me another case by FedEx. I did not even have to pay the shipping for return or anything. I wanted them to send me a PS instead of the whole case, but they wanted me to have a completely new case. That must have cost them 20$ more. You know this case is like 8-10kg with the PS and the packaging that it comes with. There was no point in sending the whole case as I only needed to replace the PS. But to maintain their goodwill they went a step ahead. Now that impressed me a LOT.

Yeah, like what's worse than a wire nest behind your case? A wire nest in front of your case! :)

You can get the slk2600amb from accupc.com for $60 or the slk3600amb for $70. For 10 extra bucks you get a larger case, a more internal 3.5" bays, rubber grommets for vibration, 120mm antec fan included, a support for a 120mm fan in the front to blow over your hard drives, and a 350W P/S instead of the 300W. Both are steel cases, and are heavy. The 2600 model is a good case and power supply, and will meet most the average consumer's needs. I personally like the little extras that you get w/the 3700. It's like getting a cheap Sonata. There's tons of discussion on this in the Cases & Cooling Forum. Also, I was at my local B&M CircuitCity over the weekend and they had a stack of the 2600 cases. I don't rember the price, but I think it was about $60.
