Outpost's ground shipping starts at 4.83 which means for small, light items like memory, CPUs fans, etc. From the list below as a guide, since it's around 20 lbs or more the shipping is probably starting at 10.00 for the Midwest and something higher to the east and west coast.

From their website: (second price is 2nd Day, 3rd price is overnight)

Sample Shipping Charges by Weight*
Sample Product Approx. Weight Ground Shipping Charges** 2nd Day Shipping Charge Overnight Shipping Charge

Typical DVD Movie, Handheld PDA, Memory Upgrade-
1 lb. and under $4.83 $7.21 $9.64

Typical Digital Camera (inc. battery), Networking Router 3 lbs. $6.54 $10.01 $13.92

Typical Camcorder (inc. tape & battery) 6 lbs. $7.08 $13.73 $18.28

Typical PC/Mac Laptop, Scanner 8 lbs. $7.43 $17.36 $23.16

I was just on the phone with the people at Outpost, couple of problems.
1) Rebate pdf on the website is incorrect.
wrong dollar amount ,wrong month and year for term of validity.
2)Shipping is $15.That is the cheapest they were willing to discuss.

I am waiting for an email from the manager of that department ,he has left for the day.
So I will not hold my breath waiting for confirmation of the rebate.

If you let the CSR know the rebate was wrong they will let tech or whoever handles the website to upload the correct one. I had this happen to me and the next day the correct one was uploaded.

I let them know the rebate was incorrect but this being a long holiday weekend everyone is gone,if possible.
Probably will not return until tuesday or after the hangover wears off.

JUST FOR INFORMATION!!!

Outpost combines shipping. So if you can find some other stuff on the site it is great

ex. I bought a Samsung 1740 printer the other day with a $60 rebate. (good deal) but $12.00 shipping to NY. I added 1 gig of corsair ram which was 69 after rebate and 1 stick of PNY ram which was 15.00 after rebate. There was no charge for shipping for the additional buys.

One other thing:

If you call them they will email you the correct rebate form. They have told me they have problems with the server and often mess up the rebates.

saw this at the local fry's today and would have picked it up....if i didn't already have 5 new cases sitting here.

definately a great case for the price.

Awesome! I've been waiting for this case to go on sale to replace my bigass Antec.

[edit] ~$20+ shipping, I'll wait until theres a deal @ the local Frys and pick it up there.

I bought one of these cases on black friday for $3.99 after rebate. It made for a nice case. comes apart for painting very easily. I highly recomend Antec cases.

Purchase the product within the rebate period, submit your rebate application according to the instructions printed on the form and wait a couple of months to get your check with the "Antec" logo. It worked for me when I got this same deal a few months ago, so I assume it will work for you too.

That's not what I meant.

The actual rebate form says: "Offer good July 1st through July 31st, 2004"
Tehf form also says it's only for $20, and that page says it's for $30

This is the page it currently links to:

this case is ugly as it could be.

It's just the typical nondescript budget Antec Solution Series style. It's a decent case + PSU and it's $15. If you prefer cases that look like insects with LED eyes, good for you, but I think you'll have to pay a bit more to get one. 🙂

bump.... any updates on this rebate??
I finally called this morning. (I don't need this case now, want one for spare.) The girl could not find the rebate for this time period, put me on hold for a few minutes..., she told me it was a possible web mistake, she'll call me back when there is a solution.
