doubt the antec will be in the 200 euro range.

not to brag but since when have you seen me associate anything with a price tag? :D

My case is on a boat somewhere on route to the vendor. :\

I thought the Skeleton was supposed come in at under $100. - but with the dollar dropping daily it's hard to know what the final price will be.

My comment was directed to the 99% of the forum that would take the price into consideration. The silent majority ;)

Used to be a case company named Lubic that you could make your own rack from parts like an erector set. There was one kit that looked like an airplane. Several sites had reviews of the design-it-yourself kit.

@Zepper. I know that this is very much off-topic, but does the Cooler Master Wave Master use the same aluminium chassis as the Praetorian 731? I was looking on your iOffer website in you sig and it looked very similar (but different front).

@Aigo. The DD Torture Rack looks cool (and so does the Microcool Banchetto 101 :)), but where do you put the components for the liquid cooling system? Or am I missing something obvious.

the banchetto, which is a very limited item is gonna be priced around 300 dollars. Yes its expensive for a case. But the rad mounts up front. If you look at the VR link you'll see.

As for the DD rack,

I mounted it on the side:

Hey Daw123

Yes, the Wave Master and the Praetorian are on basically the same chassis. The Praetorian was for those with more conservative tastes while the Wave Master was for those who prefer the swoopier styling - I have noted that "the W-M was the first PC case known (in my 25+ years' experience) to have caused mass noodle drippage amongst the geekoise". Both were top cases for their time and still hard to find any that look better or are made with better materials - not hard to find plenty with better functional design these days. I've updated the cooling on the WM without any cutting - 100mm (Scythe Kaze Jyu medium, up to 43CFM) front, 120mm C-M up to "110CFM" rear.

Thanks for both the replies from Aigo and Zepper.

I know from working on my own case that the Praetorian / Wave Master is a dream to work with. I had to cut a notch in the PSU cradle to accommodate the modular connectors and loom on the back of the PSU. Nice and thick ally, which didn't bend, even when I used a junior hacksaw and file.

I think I will have to mount the rad on the top of the case for the liquid cooling. I will probably create some sort of bracket for the rad which clamps in the square hole in the top of the case (I want to keep the case as standard as possible). Should be fun and I get to use the power tools in my dad's workshop :) I might even design the bracket in AutoCAD if I have the time.

@ Aigo. The Banchetto seems very pricey at $300 since the DD Torture Rack is half the price.

Bad timing on Antec's part - tying to sell under $100 worth of case for $180. shouldn't fly in today's market. Doesn't even come with a PSU.

you are even more generous than I. Looks like a $50 case to me - tops.
