Antec PSUs: TruePower330 Versus SmartPower350

They cost about the same on NewEgg.

Anyone care to share opinion on which is better and why?

p.s. please don't suggest alternative psus, lets just say those 2 are my only choices.

TIA

Edit: found my answer in power supply thread

Hopefully you found out that the TruPower is the better PS. A lot better. That said, IMO, you can't go wrong w/an Antec PS, period. 🙂

TP all the way. Quality over quantity in psu's, plus the other features (sata, fan-only, etc) are great.

TruePower: Dedicated circuits for each power rail, SATA connectors, 4 pin connectors for fans (controls speed = quieter computer), fans are double ball bearing.

Smartpower: Standard power rail setup, no dedicated fan connectors, no SATA connectors, sleeve bearing fans.

The SmartPower PSU is still a quality unit that will handle most rigs with no problem, but I'd say go for TruePower if you were making the choice between the two.
