antec phantom 350

the first time i used raidmax 420w and my system said that not enough power. so i go for powmax. I'm using 580w powmax psu right now. it's work fine. If i want to change to antec phantom 350 will i have enough power to run my system?

Are you gonna tell us what's *in* your system, or do we have to guess?

Generally, unless you have high-end SLI and a VERY fast CPU, a 300-400W PSU will be fine. If it's from a reputable manufacturer and you actually believe the specs.

It doesn't help when you choose two of the crappiest brands available (PowMax and RaidMax).

I have 4 hard drives, 2 sata, 2 ata. 7 fans, 1 zalman 7700cu cooler, 6600gt pny graphic card, 1 fan controller, 1 floppy, 1 dvdrw drive and some lighting.
so will this phantom 350w able to run my system?

First, get rid of some of those fans. That thing must sound like a vacuum cleaner.

You'll be fine -- but you will need some airflow to cool that PSU (you do realize the "Phantom" is a fanless PSU, right?) You don't have anything particularly 'high-end' in there (unless the system has dual P4EE Xeons and you just forgot to mention that).

300 watts from a quality, high efficient unit is all you need, tops
please dont waste your money on the phantom, why have a fanless psu when you already have 7 fans and 4 hard drives?
get a nice enermax or seasonic if you want a high efficiency psu thats also quiet, but dont spend $150+ on something that only takes $50 to get the job done, and more reliably at that
a lot of the phantoms have been having problems

i'm on my third phantom right now. This one seems to be going ok, but the other two would just make my comp restart constantly or wouldn't boot at all.
