Antec P182

All that coverage I've seen of the new cases, and not one damn article even mentions expected release dates.

Except one... On the antec web site, I found a link to CES coverage of Antec's P190, by PC Magazine, and that article said the P190 was due in stores in February. (but no specific date.)

I'm guessing the P182 will come out at the same time.

I was excited for Antec's new cases since I first heard they were coming in early November, for "December arrival", but I finally got tired of waiting, when I didn't even have any solid info on them, and I had no way to know if they'd show on Feb 1, or Feb 26.

 
It appears the stainless bling model will in fact be produced
(at least for Australia) Available downunder at the end of March.
Google "p182se" for the links. I'm stocking up on polish.

I've been reading end of February/early March for the P182. I want to build my system in the next 3 or 4 weeks so hopefully it makes it out by then as I'd like to have the revised model with the slots in the backplane.
 
I don't know about the P182 but I did e-mail Susie Hughes who's name was on the press release of the P190 and received a response that the P190 is going to be out at the end of April/beginning of May time frame. It stinks, I have two cases in mind for my build, this being one of them and the other is out of stock...
 
Well, I finally lost my patience waiting for the P182 last week... ordered the P180B on Wednesday and took advantage of the $25 Newegg rebate.
 
I've got a P180b and I like it a lot. Those newer cases look real cool though. But the case I have is unlike previous cases I've owned in the past. I think the PSU on the bottom is cool, but heat still rises 🙂
 
Well I got tired of waiting so I fired off 2 emails on Sunday... one to CS on antec.com and the other to their PR firm. I got a response early Monday from both (impressed with their follow through):

Yes that is still the working timeframe for P190, and P182 should be available in about 6-8 weeks.

So... looks like April/May for both the P190 and P182. Since I just ordered all my parts EXCEPT the case yesterday, I guess I'll have to settle with the P180 or find something else. Dang!
