I want one!
But, I have 2 big problems! It will not fit in my computer desk. I am afraid to receive it damaged because of its size and not having enough cushioning in the packaging.

I just received the slightlly smaller Antec Solo from Outpost (via standard shipping by DHL) in perfect condition--not even a scratch to the box. Can't do much about your computer desk.

i have the silver one, and can't justify spending $70 on this lol..dammit outpost... too bad it doesnt have more HD space, i'd make a server out of it.

Thanks. Just went in for the silver one. Do I have to wait for the actual product to arrive before I send in the rebate, or can I send in the form with the online receipt printed out?

You have to wait for the product. You will need to cut the UPC bar code from the box and include it in the envelope. You should make copies of everything.

how is this good for only one day when it is untill the 23rd?
The rebate has to be post marked by the 23rd. The sell price of $109 is today only.

The rebate has to be postmarked by DECEMBER 23rd, and I see no indication that the 109 is a one day price.

P180B

For anyone who already knows that this case will work for them, it's a hot deal. If you have never seen it, you might want to read the reviews at newegg (I always sort by lowest rating to see what problems people have). Most people like it, but a significant number say that the bottom-mounted PSU doesn't work for them because of cable length, etc.

cable length could pose problem for optical drives and HD, how is the cable management of the case?, can the wires "diasppear" well with this case with PS on the bottom?

Interested, but every review (whether as a problem or just mentioning) talk about the short cable length / interference with the power supply being in the bottom of the case.

Anyone with it have difficulty?

In for a stainless.

A few years ago I vowed no more cheap flimsy cases...it's worth the money and Antec are always good. I've been wanting a P180 for a long time and I couldn't see paying what they normally go for, but at $70 AR shipped it's a killer deal and too hard to pass up.

Cable management on this case is one of the negatives in my opinion. Most modern power supplies will have cables long enough but you may have to short cut over the top of your PCI cards, for example, to get at the 4 pin MB power connection. Another strange cabling arrangement is hooking up the hard drives since they are located in their own little cubby.

Overall though, it's a nice case. Build quality is excellent. Hard to go wrong for the price.

i too have this case..in silver.
paid $130 months ago...
i like it alot...
cable routing is tricky... but it is a very quiet case and built well

As far as being quiet goes, the system will be as quiet as the fans inside. The case comes with three fans plus normal system components like the power supply, CPU, and GPU all have fans as well so that totals six fans on a typical setup. Fortunately, the Antec fans are good quality and come with a three speed position switch. I suggest running the fans on low unless your CPU is particularly hot. As far as the case goes, it is well built and does not contribute to vibration and such so that is good as far as noise goes as well.

Would like to get one but I don't do rebates anymore unless its already cheap out the door. Good luck to those on getting your rebate.
