Thanks for the heads up, I got in on this (as well as the NeoHE power supply, 550W) this time. I missed it last time while I was thinking about it - I'm not upgrading until christmas, but I don't think I'm likely to get the two for less than the 174 I paid (with tax, free shipping), even then.

lol, think again. name one hot pc component that did NOT drop in price over time. if you can get it at this price today, of course you'll get it for less later. i'll pay $120 for this same setup in several months.

in the objective value of cases, $90 for a case isn't cheap. they can afford to clear these out at $60... $50... $40!!! and they charged you $90! they charged others $120 before!

i know you want to feel good about your purchase soOo... all things considered, hey, you [still] got a deal. how much would saving an extra $20 or so a month from now improve your life? it won't... lol.

I posted the original thread on this, but I'm glad someone else posted a new one now that its back at that price and functioning properly at checkout. This is a GREAT deal. I seriously doubt you'll find one much cheaper than this in the next few months, but I've been wrong before ;)

I actually agree with him.
He was responding to a poster who wasn't planning on upgrading untill Christmas yet has jumped on today's deal assuming that those items won't go any lower for the next couple of months.
Guess what. They will get cheaper.
Like any other technology related product. Computer memory being a special case of course.
A good portion of posters here are buying on impulse like there's no tommorow.
If you wanna save money, don't make a purchase untill you really have to.

You might or might not get this case cheaper by Christmas. None of us are fortune tellers, but if it does get cheaper, I don't think it'd be by very much. But, yeah, I've been wrong before :)

I would agree normally, if the power supply wasn't $40 under its price anywhere else (quick glance), and if the case wasn't the lowest it's ever been (it's been up on and off for the past year or so for $100 from time to time). The lack of shipping cost makes things even better. Neither of these is likely to drop in price that much given trends like this and the fact that there aren't exactly any big innovations in PSUs or cases... If we had been talking about a processor or video card, I'd agree, but quite frankly we aren't, and I sincerely doubt I would have gotten any better a price within the next month or so (I should have also clarified that I meant christmas-ish, more likely towards when I get off from classes early in December - I just didn't expect to have to defend myself :x).

On the other hand, as you said, even if I'm wrong, the cost doesn't kill me right now and $10 wouldn't be a big deal in the end.

In for one case..thanks OP.

I checked the reviews on Newegg about the PSU, and it seems that there are some issues with this. Does anyone here have any experience with it? I'm looking for a nice high efficiency PSU for this case. Enermax (ELT500AWT) has a nice one with great reviews - but it costs a lot more. Any input?

Well, from what I've read, it has had issues with certain Asus motherboards, but according to Antec's website, either A-a BIOS update or B-a (free) replacement PSU will help if you run into problems. Given the reviews I've read about the thing, you're not going to do any better for the price, and it goes perfect with the P180 as it has air flowing through it horizontally rather than up and out like many other power supplies.

please... share with everyone. hopefully, you are capable of an equally simple answer. i'm all ears ~

If you mean for $120, then no, it's no longer a hot deal at all at that price. If you're getting it for $90 w/ free shipping, go right on ahead, it's a great deal at that price.

Good deal.

fair enough... but let's make the clear distinction. it was NOT directed at NYhoustonman but rather toward TrojanAaron.

so Trojan... come on then, answer my question? or CAN'T you?

Please guys... stop feeding the troll.

Nice deal op.

I bought this case last Christmas for $99, it's a damn nice, quiet case.
