ANTEC P160

Used the P160 for my new rig and so far I couldn't be happier with the airflow and the noise level. Honestly, my Shuttle SS51G is louder than the Antec. I used an Enermax Noisetaker 600W PSU and it has two fans, one that pulls from inside the case, the other that pushes out, so in effect I have two case fans: the 120mm that came with the Antec, and the fans in the PSU. You can feel the air drawing into the unit from the front easily, so I know its sucking it in pretty good.

The hardware inside is:

Intel P4 3.4 (prescott)
Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu cooler w/AS5 thermal paste
ASUS P4C800E-Deluxe mobo
Sapphire X800XT vid card
LSI Logic SATA RAID controller
4 x WD Caviar 250 GB drives
Plextor 712SA DVD
4 x Crucial Ballistix 512Mb RAM (PC4000)

At idle my CPU temps are at 41C, at full load its around 51-52C and I can't hear this rig over my Shuttle box.

All in all, its a nice case, easy to assemble and seems to do well in the quiet and cool department 🙂
