It's certainly has lots of nice features, and is really aimed at the silent brigade. It's a pity it couldn't be aluminium, I'm still not entirely won over by white or black for that matter.

As has been said before in this thread the HD suspension rocks.

I do agree that it should be offered without the PSU, and a black version is defiantly a must, almost every other piece of PC gear around my desk is black.

Oh, and the Antec logo on the bottom really bugs me, I have several friends who agree; anyone else here feel the same?

I agree I think this is probably the best case I've seen from Antec, so they should really market it better by offering it in silver and black, with or without a PSU. Although the way it is now appeals to me, I'm sure tons of people would rather it be some other configuration as I mentioned. Aluminum would also be preferable, but that usually doesn't matter too much if you aren't moving the case around.

Antec logo: whatever, I guess wish the logo what cooler looking. Like an Apple logo or a Roland logo on one of their products isn't objectionable at all I don't think. It could be better, but it could also be a lot worse.

Have not seen it in person yet obviously, but if its anything like the P180 "Antec" logo, than it is very subtle. Doesn't bother me a bit as I can barely make out the one on my P180.

It's released tomorrow??!! Excellent - although some UK places (where I live) mention 24th October...

Hopefully it won't have too much of a premium over Antec's other mid-ranged cases, although considering its quality, it certainly deserves it. I'm hoping for not much over £90, but I heard it may be closer to £100 in the UK.

Not in stock, but nice price.

Find a place that has it in stock and let us know.

Thats a$$ified. The guy gave a place with a nice price and even had a disclaimer saying not instock, and you have the guts to throw it in his face and tell him to do more work for you. You know it probably would have taken less time for to find a place that had it instock then it took you to write what I consider a very offensive post.

Side comment, I am not easily offended or prone to getting pissed infact insults and other fun stuff have no affect cept maybe laughter but for some reason people being mean to other people who are just trying to help out really rub me the wrong way.

To Tiamat nice Price, hopefully everyone will be selling it around that range.

For the non overclocker it'll be adequate but for those that like to overclock anything less than 500w wont be adequate. I dont think Antec made this case for the serious overclocker though. Like the reviewer said, low - mid range uses.

neoHE is extremely efficient and will seem like it has more watts than it actually does. IMO, the 350 watt neoHE will run like a 480-500 watt previous gen psu. Its fine for ocing...

Well assuming your average good PSU is about 70% real wattage efficient and assuming this is about 80% efficient (because it's 85% claim is too optimistic) then comparing a 500W and 450W PSU ....

500W x 0.7 = 350W
430W x 0.8 = 344W

I guess you can begin to see with that that the difference is rather small.

Of course being somewhat less optimistic still and we assume the Neo is only 5% more efficient we get

430W x 0.75 = 322.5W

That still isnt too bad compared to the 500W PSU.

Of course, significant differences are that it's a modular power supply and has separate rails which some overclockers may not favour. Apparently according to the spec sheet it's capable of 16A on 3 separate rails which is quite good. Of course, SPCR only amanged 25A out of them at full load - but then we might ask are other power supplies as inefficient? Moreover, it seems the Amps on the 5 and 3.3 lines are rather low - how critical that is I'm not sure.

70% or 80% it doesn?t make a difference. Efficiency has absolutely nothing to do with power output, a 400 watt PSU is 400 watts regardless of it's efficiency.

The Neo has one single 12v rail that is regulated by three outputs. The total 12v power is 25 amps, but each output is limited to no more then 20 amps.

The 3.3 and 5v rails don't not see a very high draw with modern systems so they don't need to be very powerful.

Looks like an interesting case, though white. I too wonder why Antec's site doesn't reflect it yet.

What? The P150 is there:

high efficiency doesn't=more watts. if a 400watt psu has a 50% efficiency, then half the power from the wall will be "wasted" but the psu will still be pumping the normal stock wattage.

i like the features, but i'm not a big fan of the white/aluminum exterior.

i was thinking of the P180, but i've read people having a hard time putting a system together. looking at their manual, the first page is a picture, the 2nd page describes the parts in English, the 2 pages after are for foreign language interpertation, and the last page is the contact information for Antec lol.

The P180 isn't hard at all to put together. It was my first build, and everything was quite straightforward. Yeah, the manual lacks images but the text isn't lacking in detail. Just make sure to follow your mobo's manual as well, and to have a PSU will long cables. P180 is an awesome case to gaze at. I just wish I could use mine.. still waiting on a certain PSU >:/

Well, actually it does mean more watts as in more watts available. If a 500 watt is 70% efficient then it has less watts available then a 500 watt that is 80% efficient. Don't try to mince words, more efficien does = more watts for the computer to use.
