Antec NSK4480 w/380W earthwatts PS *SOLD OUT*

That's a good price on a decent case with 80+ power supply, the only downsides are PSU is a little loud and hard drives have rigid mounting do all vibrations are going to be transmitted to the case. However, for $30 it's a steal.

Anybody knows if that's available B&M?

I didn't think my EW430 was that loud in a P180... Are quiter ones like Seasonic S12 much better in that regard?

I certainly would not call my Earthwatts 380 loud. It's not inaudiable, but it is pretty quiet.

Edit: PS-this is the extra same price that the Earthwatts 380 was selling for a week or two back at the Egg (after rebate) in a previous hot deal. Under this deal, you are also getting a case for free-it you don't like it junk the case.

I have used the Earthwatts PSU in several builds and have found them to be very quiet (almost inaudible), plus it is an 80+ PSU. This PSU is also made by Seasonic for Antec. I have also built several systems using Antec NSK4400 cases. If this case is like the NSK4400, then the hard drive mounts have rubber grommets that reduce the noise and vibration from the hard drives.

This is a really good deal for $30 (after MIR).

Not sure about compared to the S12, but aren't the EarthWatts supplies made by Seasonic for Antec?

Edit: Already answered above.

I've built an NSK4400 (same case, but the PS wasn't as good).

It was a great case, but much tighter than you'd imagine.
It was fine once all set up, but not too friendly for a "play in your case" geek.

I might buy one to do a "scrap parts built" that I'll sell off later.

Awww, would have bought one if not OOS. $30 shipped AR is pretty HOT for just the PSU...
