and which ones are the wires to the leds? i had a case before that had LED fans and there was no way to tell.
 
bah i paid $89 for it like 3 months ago heh.

great case. only thing i dont like is the power button is on the top. i have mine setting on my desk. so its a reach to tun on/off.
 
Ok da%nit I'm going back to frys to see if they have a psu 24pin extension cable. My psu will not reach the plug on the top of the mobo. Seek caution if your 24 pin connector is a short one you might want to pickup or order a cable extension. Mine is about an inch and a half from plugging in with no way to make it work as my psu has a 120mm fan so I can't flip it over the other way. :-( All in all so far seems like a wonderfull layout. Now If I can just keep my 9 ide drives in order so everything still works. LMAO

That problem was only with the REV 1 case, they are long gone and the later ones are fine.
Antec took care of the earlier ones if anyone asked, supplied new parts free. This is a terriffic deal, you could not buy just the fans for this price. It is also VERY quite with the fans on low which still gives great ventilation.

I forgot all about this because I ran into a disaster after swapping all this over.
I boot it up and it hung after memtest then would continue but would say nthdlr missing.
So i restart go in bios ide config shows no drives but boot settings and under harddrives it showed them.
So I shut down clear cmos and poof no post
its not spinning the hard drives or even powering the dvd drives.
I have installed a case speaker and pulled everything but the cpu. I tested my gpu in another box and pulled a stick of ram out of it and replaced mine with it still same thing. Not posting to the monitor or giving any beeps. So I guess I need a new mobo. What a crop of s$%# I have never had a mobo die on me before. This sucks.

So now do I go with another 939 ddr1 pcie mobo or wait till amd slash's prices tomorrow and get a am2 setup sell my ddr1 ram on here and pick up ddr2? Choices choices. I really don't have the time or money to wait to sell my ram on here and to wait for newegg or someone to ship a combo. This just all out bites.

Well got my mobo to work again.

I'm in the same boat as you. I just can't justify another case right now while I have five unused cases sitting around. I'd also have to dump the LED fans. I just can't get into it, especially for front fans.

They have three speed fans. On the low setting, it should be virtually silent. I have a SuperLanboy with similar 120mm fans, except that you can't adjust the fan speeds. They are pretty silent.

 
I called my two local fry's today in SoCal. They are all sold out and the sale ends tuesday. However, they will give you a raincheck if you go in. They sold 20 cases just this morning.

I ordered mine on 7/6 at 7 pm and it is on the DHL truck for delivery today!! It shipped out of Ohio-talk about service. Now , to see if it gets here intact.

PS-To those who keep comparing this to P180/182, ETC. My decision was influenced most by having a door or not having a door- doors are a PITA
 
fyi, this thing also serves as a great ionizer.. ionic breeze if you turn the fans up high enough. expect to dust/vacuum the front plates, where the fans are, about once a month. and stock up on compressed air cans. even high up [on my nephew's printer desk], it's a sucker so don't expect it to look good without cleaning often.

i got in on the p180s and p180b deals... considering what those [far superior cases] were had for : ) this is quite a let-down. air-flow is over rated; what good is it when dust sticks to the components, making a home between heatsink fins?

the next revision of this should at least include removable air filters and change the face plate design.. or be a total redesign. disappointing case... that said, my nephew loves it ~

p.s. he said it looks made to pwn
 
I'm with your nephew. It's a nice case. Living in a VERY dusty area, I don't seem to have any more dust problems with this case than others in the house. Overall, I'm quite happy.

Maybe I'm just a slob?

I really do like the room, looks and build of this box. The price is acceptable.

Just my opinion.
 
ya it was working before. You gotta go to the store and pick it up. I bought one today. In the morning they had 35 in stock, 4 hours later they had only 22 or so.
 
i broke down and ordered one on saturday. got it yesterday.

the leds aren't as bad as I thought they were. i still may get new fans or cut the led wires if i can figure out which ones they are.

for 4 huge fans, this thing is fairly quiet. i have everything set to medium speed. low speed is really quiet. i don't notice a whole lot of difference between medium and high speed volume. seems to really keep the system cool.

one thing i don't really like is that the panel with the clear screen seems really fragile and cheaply made. i had a case with a side screen once before and it was pretty sturdy (and that case only cost $50 normally, not $150).

my old case (Coolermaster Centurion, the one with the silver pillars in the front) had the mesh grills in the front with a 120mm intake fan and it was a dust magnet. we'll see how this one is, especially with 2 120mm intake fans.
 
ordered on saturday, still havent received it, and the tracking says
invalid tracking number??!! i emailed cust service and they havent
responded yet either 🙁 booooo
