According to all my programs the 120mm PSU fan on this NeoPower is only running at 800RPM - is this correct or is mine fvcked?
 
Correct. As your case/PSU heats up it will ramp up the speed. 800rpm for a 120mm should be putting out quite a bit of air as it is.
 
make sure that the temperature control thinie is plugged into the "chassis fan" slot on your mobo. I had it plugged into the "power fan" slot and it wasn't reading my temps right and shut down my case fans. But you gotta admit its nice having that built in rheobus oin the unit
