Antec NeoPower 480 too hot when O/C

I am pairing an Antec NeoPower 480 with my FX-55 rig.

@ 2600 stock speed (1.5 vcore), PSU temp max out @65C after running 15 min of toast

@ 2800 o/c speed (1.575 vcore), PSU temp max out @ 73-73C, and mobo starting beeping for PSU temp warning.

Does it mean that I am asking too much from the PSU? I have already stuck a 80mm fan outside of the PSU to draw hot air out but it is only slowing down the heat-up process instead of really keeping it cooler.

Do I need to find another PSU if I want to O/C? Thanks.

That should be more than enough power for what your doing I would think.

Have you checked your voltages with other progs? Might be something defective on the PSU.

that is a big PSU temp jump though

What other progs can I use to check voltage? mbm5 doesn't seems to work on my mobo
My Abit EQ seems to be showing me quite normal voltage
+5V 5.17v
+3.3V 3.37v
and there is no +12V reading

OH!!! I have this power supply. I had a heat problem with it too. I found that I had more than one fan monitor slot on my PC, so I plugged it into the other one and everything worked. Dont know if that makes any sense.
