:/ meh. spare notebooks/netbooks/tablets are a must. if my main rig or my htpc dies, i can live without them for a week by doing my basic needs on a portable device. and that really includes EVERYTHING but games. i watch all my tv and movies on computers, which in a pinch my portables can do as well.

also, if i had a spare power supply around my house this whole time it would be 2 years old by now... and definitely not something that has the newest standards applied to it.

dont mean to be contradictory but after reading that statement i just couldnt figure any logical way it could be accurate.
