Antec MX-1 problems?

Got a new samsung drive and connected it straight to my mobo SATA, formated it and made sure I could copy files to/from it.

OPened up my new antec MX-1, put the drive in, connected eSATA/power but I can't get windows to see it. I am going to search but wanted to see if there is something simple I am overlooking. THE POS seagate free agent didn't have any issues being recognized in vista with the same eSATA cable.

EDIT: USB recognizes/works fine.

eSATA should be pretty much pass-through. Perhaps double-check the internal connections of the MX-1 (painful though that process might be), as well as the external ones.

thanks Mad. I can open it back up but since the USB works then I would think everything is fine on the inside. I can try a different eSATA cable but the one I have is new and recently worked with a seagate eSATA drive enclosure.

I'm running out of suggestions. If your connections are tight and in the right direction, and you're not trying to connect USB and eSATA at the same time (or even in the same power cycle), then maybe you just have a hardware problem with the new enclosure (in the eSATA part).
