Antec Modular True 550W Power Supply

If I had the cash, no I wouldn't buy it. You'd still have things sticking out of the PSU, and those would be (arguably) harder to conceal than just running the unused wires behind the mb tray.
 
Looks like a FrozenCPU modified Antec 550w True power supply. It looks like the warranty seal has been cut in their picture. I wouldn't buy that esp for $185, just isn't worth that much money to cut back on some wiring and make it look nice.
 
I just bundle the excess leads out of the way, but it does put ideas into a guy's head. If the forward end of the PSU came stock with a bunch of plastic receptacles and a person could simply plug in the items he wanted, that would be slick.

By the way, AntecCSR, have you guys started making all the retail-boxed TruePowers with black plugs on the wires instead of clear? I saw one about a month ago, a TP330, and said "hey, black plugs = 😎!" and I saw that the TP550 in AnandTech's PSU roundup had black plugs also. I wonder what my chances are of getting one with black plugs if I ordered one up at this point? 😀
 
By now I'd think the chances are pretty good of getting the black molex connectors. We've been shipping those out for a couple months now.
