Antec Mini P180 @ The Egg - No rebate *OOS*

No, most are ATX, although there's certainly much great variety than ever before.

Micro ATX leaves you with 4 expansion (PCI-e, PCI) slots compared to the 6-7 on most ATX boards. Oftentimes they have fewer RAM slots and other ports (SATA, USB) as well, but I'd say for the average user/system MicroATX is fine.

Couple it with this and you've got the foundation for a solid system for a low price (~120 shipped). It'd be great for gaming (small size for LANs).

Wow, I'm gonna have to resist selling the laptop I just bought to build a desktop.

Small size for lans? I beg to differ. I would love to get this case, but not at this time. At 17.1" high and 21 pounds, it's about the same size as other mid tower ATX cases. Would be difficult to lug around.

The Mini P180 is the same size as most ATX mid-towers. There's nothing small about it except for the mATX board part.

Eh, well it sure is smaller than a P180 and many of the other gaming oriented cases around anymore. Something tells me it'd put up with the abuse of moving it around better than a lot of cases as well.

The point of this case is maximum cooling for any set of components you want to use, at very low noise levels. Any graphics card will easily fit if you pull one of the HD bays. It can also run a 130W cpu fanless with any sink equal to or better than a Ninja, quietly. It is a large case by matx standards; it's the same size as an ATX Antec Solo. It will be much easier to work with than a smaller case such as an Antec 3470.
