Antec front drive door-swap sides?

Looking at getting the Antec 1040, but I want the front drive door to swing on the right side. Not worryed about the lock. Has any one swaped them? Thanks.:beer:

I have the Chieftec Case, of which the Antec is a clone, and it is not possible to detatch the door. I too looked since I thiink the door swings the opposite way of what it should swing. After hitting it with my leg a few dozen times, I finally just took it off - permanently.

i think its possible, there are 2 little pegs above and below the edge of the door that it attaches to. all you would need to do is put those on the other side -- drill a couple of holes and put some pegs in. the lock would almost definitely need to go though.

the door comes off easily, i take it off pretty much every time i do major maintenance.

Yeah, cheiftech/antech/chenming doors definitley do come off. Just press the little tab at the top hinge of the door and pull it out top first.

If it's not easy to mod the door to swing on the right, you might try a couple of little metal hinges - cheap at any hdwre dept...
