For comparison, $69.99 shipped from Newegg. Even before the rebate this PSU is $15 cheaper shipped price from Buy.com. Earthwatt PSUs are a Seasonic design and are 80+ certified. It should be powerful enough to run pretty much any single GPU system that requires only one PCI-E plug.

Good deal, thank you Zap.

5%off link

damn I so wish I had that when I submitted my order 😛
its only $2.5, but then again thats how much I spend on a meal...

That coupon is good until the end of 2008 and is only able to be used once per person <cough, account, cough>, so I'm sure you'll find another chance to use it. 😉

It is not as quiet as the retail seasonics, which often turn the fan off at low power.
It is pretty quiet however. I have two of the 380watt model, and I ordered this because it was a great price. I don't really need the extra 50 watts though.

I build a fileserver with 7 hard drives and a dual pentium III 933, and the 380 watt
model powers it fine. Never draws more than 280 watts from the AC line even when spinning up the hard drives.

Given that it is made by seasonic, and it has a 3 year warranty, and it is 80+ certified, it should be a no-brainer unless you have a monster graphics card to power.

See http://www.silentpcreview.com/article684-page1.html for a detail review and sound recordings of the power supply.
