ANTEC cases + PSU at Amazon

Hi Guys-

I was searching for a good case with a decent power supply, and came across these Antec cases at Amazon. They are actually cheaper than at other sites (Newegg, etc.), and have FREE shipping (which saves $16 or so over the other sites). Use the $5 or $10 coupons found on the obese pocketbook site, and I think you'd have some pretty decent deals. I know they are more expensive than some cases out there, but the Antec PSU and the quality of the cases makes this a good deal, IMHO!

I ordered my case 2 days ago with their free shipping, and it was sent out today. Amazon isn't very good about keeping track of which inventory is in stock or out of stock, but they are cheap, and you get what you pay for.

you've been bitching in other threads too...did you call them up? The PSU appears to be in stock and many others have reported getting them...If your gonna bash a company then provide a little more details...

I ordered one last thursday and recieved it on Monday. Its obviously in stock. I'd call and talk to a supervisor about your order.

Seems that most of the TruePower PSUs on Amazon are sold through OfficeDepot, which won't accept the $5 and $10 coupons you're talking about. A few of PSUs seem to be sold through Amazon direct, like the blue LED 350 SmartPower, and yes the coupons will work in that case.

I'm just surprised Amazon is selling the SLK1600 (not referred to by name) for $55 when they're also selling the 2600AMB for $57...

anyone know if this is just a filler picture or is the case actually this color? it says black solution series so is it supposed to be a black case that loooks like this or what? anyone know?

It is actually a metallic bronze color. Not the best in the world, but decent looking.

I was pretty surprised Amazon actually has a decent selection of Antec cases. I had been looking for a black case for my HTPC and just for kicks, I did a search for "sonata" on Amazon and it came up with a black Antec case. Coupled with a promo code I had and free shipping, I got it for alot cheaper than I could have at other online stores.

cool, i think it looks nice - more the style than the color i guess, but i am looking for a black case thus bias somewhat 🙂 i wish they had this in black as i would be done with the search thats for sure. what do you think about this one...

...i was gonna go with one of the antec/chieftec looking ones but they are so common.

ok well they keep on emailing me every week saying due to a system error they cant ship it out to me?!?
and now its not due to ship out till April 10?!?!?!

i did call and the guy said that it should be fixed and shipped out last week but nope i just got another email saying they are sorry and its been delayed again!!!!
