Well, I went to check it again today. And it still shows "In Process", so I click on the order and now it says "Backordered". Man, I really needed this case. :|

I called yesterday (the 9th) to check on my order status from Saturday night. The CSR I talked to said they were out of stock, but that my order was still good. He said they would be receiving shipments on the 11th, 22nd, 25th, and a bunch of times in February. I was assured my order wouldn't be cancelled, and that I would receive a case.

I ordered mine on the 5th and it shows shipped. Last scanned on the 8th. I'm expecting it today or tomorrow at the latest. I've always had good luck with Onvia. :)

I've been calling once a day or so to check the status of this order (I ordered at noon PST on 1/5)...well, guess what just showed up at my office! My only complaint is that it's packaged in the original Antec box, rather than being reboxed. It also looks like it has been opened and taped shut, but I haven't had a chance to open it up and check the contents yet.

Who else has free shipping that sells cases? I guess I'll have to go local again.

Well, I just got the email as well. Looks like they are cancelling my order. Onvia used to be good in my book, but I guess it doesn't matter anymore since they will be using Firstsource.

They cancelled mine, too. I talked to their customer support and well....I'm not too happy with them. They cancelled our orders because product was not going to get here in a timely manner. However, they will have a shipment tomorrow. Seems like they couldn't wait another day to let us get our cases shipped. I also asked if they could reinstate my order, and she said she couldn't. This seems screwey, I think they are taking too much of a loss on some of their deals and this is a work around for them to weasel on out of it. Well, I'm calling up tomorrow and I'm going to get my case. Unfortunately, this is back to the normal price. The only reason I bought this was for the power supply, which was about the same as the case+PS. well, I'm writing them up a nasty comment on Resellerratings.com and I suggest everyone else do it to.

Got mine today, ordered on the 5th. Man this thing is huge... I can hardly wait to start cutting away at the case. Gonna add a window and blow hole.

I just got my order cancellation from Onvia on the case order I placed on 1/5.
That begins the saga ... I call to see if I can get it reinstated or kept on hold or whatever and deal with the most unpleasant obstanent bi*ch I've ever had the misfortune of talking to. :|
First she argues with me that my order in fact has not been cancelled. Here the email snip "We have received word from our suppliers that the ATX CASE MID TOWER WITH 300W PS(KS282+PP303X) SOLU on your order is no longer available for shipment. She tells me to just reorder it - Okay but it's not showing in stock I thought you don't hold backorders and why do I have to reorder it if it's not actually cancelled? Then I get well there is more stock coming in 1/11, 1/20, and 1/28. Okay but can I get it at the original orders price and shipping and my answer is "you'll have to call the sales line and go thru channels there cause I won't be able to help you with that". Now I'm hot but I calmly ask if there is anyone else there that might be able to help me and the line goes dead.....

Hmmmm...interesting...I bought it on the 7th, but I haven't received any e-mails except the first order confirmation one......Wonder what gives...Hope this thing comes...need a decent case for my new comp...

OK, so I called Onvia this pm regarding my Jan 6 (pre-price increase and still free shipping) order for two SX-830's....has been listed as "inprocess" since ordering. Previous calls I was told it would probably be cancelled, call back then and they will reinstate it, etc, etc.

The rep today first started to say "I have bad news...", put me on hold to check availability in Texas (?)(I'm in IL), then came back on and told me he had confirmation that he snagged two out of the 19 (!) left for my order....

I guess I will see tomorrow if I have a tracking ID.

This is getting too hard.....;)

dudleydocker - that is probably a very good sign. I got the same kind of runaround, and my case (which showed up as backordered less than 24 hours ago) arrived at my office today! So when they tell you they "found one for you" it apparently means they actually did. I'm very impressed, especially considering the fact that that Onvia/Firstsource switchover has to be incredibly stressful on their end.

This is such a BS snowjob. Their site still lists this case as in stock. They sent me a cancelled your order, sorry for the inconvenience yada, yada, yada email. I sent a reply back that if they didn't give me the case at that price then off to the BBB I go. That is a bait and switch tactic and is unpardonable. No wonder they're outsourcing now, they were a complete bunch of idiots.

I'm not really in any rush whatsoever, so it doesn't make a difference if it doesn't come for 3 weeks from now...it's for the new gaming system I'm building and since I don't even have a mobo or proc or RAM, doesn't matter...I'm just hoping it actually comes...Antec makes great cases and this seemed like a sweet deal...don't want to be screwed on this one...but such is life

I wrote to the CEO and the VP for cust service asking nicely for their help -- no answer from either one. Well phuck Onvia. I'm just goina to put this behind me now and chalk it up to a lame company.

An interesting thing happend to me with my SX830 order from Onvia. It stayed in "processing" mode on the order tracking page forever. Then 2 days ago I got the e-mail that my order has been cancelled. Much to my suprise yesterday UPS dropped off the case. I immedately checked my order status online and it was indeed changed to cancelled. Next I checked my credit card statement online. Guess what, my CC was never charged. According to the packing slip the case shipped from Calif. on the 4th so I'm sure if they where going to charge me thay would have by now. The DVD drive that was on the same order also shipped on the 4th from Texas and that showed up on my statement on the 4th.

Well, just got off the phone with a CSR. My case shipped out yesterday, and according to UPS will be at my house tomorrow. I too got the email today saying my order was cancelled!

For anybody not getting a case, I ordered mine on 1/6 at 8-something pm. Mine shipped out of Harrisburg, PA.

Bought mine on Friday, January 5 at 1:06pm EST. Status at onvia.com is "All items shipped". Hurray!! Tracking status showed it was shipped out of La-Grande Vista, CA on 1/6 and was last scanned in Jacksonville, FL today (1/11). I'm in Orlando so I should get it today or tomorrow!! Sweet!

how sad...mine was just cancelled...guess I was too slow...dangit!I WANTED this case...Anyone have any other ideas on a high quality case for a decent deal??

Just called Onvia at 2:00 pm and was on hold for at least 1/2 hour. Took the lady 3 minutes to reinstate my order. Shipped tomorrow.

I got ya beat I order one of those Elsa Gladiac way back on the 19th of Dec and the order was and still shows cancelled. Well here we are on the 11th of Jan and a UPS trucks pulls up to the house and I am thinking I havent ordered anything lately. Look at the box its from Onvia and guess whats inside a video card LOL :) I already got one from Buy.com when they cancelled my order. I checked my CC and no charge I hope it stays that way.
