After receiving a cancellation notice from Onvia a week ago, I was surprised and extremely pleased to receive this case and power supply yesterday.

This is my first Antec case and must say that the quality is excellent. It is exceptional when put in the context of $50 delivered. Normally, I prefer Enlight for mid-towers but after inspecting this case, I would have no reservations recommending it as equal or better. Well built, lots of steel and finished nicely inside.

Much better than I expected and satisfied once again with Onvia...even though it is sometimes a convoluted path.

I'm considering getting a new case but I'm really not wanting a full tower case; I've got 1 and it's not helped in terms of cooling, vs. a med tower case. Plus the height and all is annoying.

The cases I'm looking at are:

Inwin A500
Fong Kai 603 and 320 models
Antec 188 (yes I know its FT) or 288 or 282
Enlight 7237

My biggest concerns are:
1> Quality PS. I've had a lot of problems on another computer (inwin S500... came with a "powerman" 300W PS) that resolved when I changed powersupplies. Local dealers seem to only carry generic, no-name brand powersupplies, so I'd prefer to buy mail order
2> Cooling. During the summer, when the abient temp in my room barely reached 80, my BH6 MB reported that my celeron 300 @450 (2.0V) reached an ambient temp between 100-104. When I closed my full tower case, it got ~3 degrees warmer. Ive got a fan in front, and 2 fans in the back. Currently I added a fan to blow over the PCI slots at the bottom of the case, which cooled things a bit, but still.

Suggestions would be appreciated. FWIW I live in Southern California so I don't have a problem with dealing with companies located in cali.

I ordered 2 and received 3! Wonder if they will charge me for the extra one? They're pretty nice cases, especially for the price!

The $49.99 deal is gone but the case is available now for $68.84 delivered. Here is the link... KS282+PP303X. At this price, rather luke warm. Still nice case and an excellent power supply (worth about $40 alone). Much better than the Enlights with the generic (ie. low quality cheap s***) power supply.

Unfortunately, Onvia charges shipping now so it would be $68.84 + ~$16 for shipping. Shipping sucks...

My case came in on friday. Nice case with a great 300w PS. Compared to my sx830 its just ok. Compared to other low priced cases, its awesome.

I'm glad this post came up. I ordered the Enlight ATX mid w/o PS for $30 back in Nov.
The ran out before mine shipped, so I called after checking stock and they're reinstating my original order!!! It'd cost almost $50 today after shipping. Wahoo!

Thanks!

You need to enable your "cookies" for the broswer you're using. Either Internet Explorer or Netscape I guess. You should be able to find that option somewhere in the preferences/options menu.

I missed out on this! I have this case already but was looking for another though . I made mine really quiet with closed cell foam tape 2 in wide
lined sides front top every thing! Now only air in + out is with front + back fans.
